New Naomi-ism

Today Mommy made the comment of why do you smell pretty before realizing it was the scented soap that Naomi used to wash her hands. Naomi promptly responded with "I don't smell pretty, I smell different"

The little hellion strikes again. The celebration of her third birthday was today, and it was an exhausting affair for all involved, including the newly anointed three-year-old. Bearing the brunt of her cranky attitude, the four adults in the room tried to get her to understand that she didn't need a snack because we were going to eat soon, and in true Naomi fashion, she replies with the following:

"I don't want to eat. I just want my snack."

Logic is not a concept this child yet understands.
